ACT Alliance: Forums meet in Amman

The first-ever global meeting of ACT Forums was held in Amman, Jordan.  WCC Armenia Round Table Foundation also participated in the meeting. Rudelmar Bueno de Faria, General Secretary of the ACT Alliance, opened the meeting, stressing once more that the “Forums in the Centre” approach was imperative for the Alliance members.

Regional practices were shared by Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, Latin America and Caribbean Forums. Discussions on membership engagement and funding strategies will be continued later this year at the 2024 Assembly of the ACT Alliance.

Field visits were paid to refugee camps, where development work was carried out so that people get new skills for improving their lives.
