ACT Alliance Workshop in Sweden

Armenia Round Table Foundation is a member of ACT Alliance Psychosocial Community of Practice (PsCoP) led by Church of Sweden. The members of PsCoP around the world met on 14-15 March, 2016 in Uppsala, Sweden to work together at advocating a number of key issues related to psychosocial support in emergency situations.

The overall objective of the PsCoP is to strengthen the alliance’s capacity for psychosocial support. It aims to give suffering communities’ resilience and capacity to cope by building cooperation and opening access to the support they need. 

Since its establishment in 2010, the CoP has been working on spreading the importance of community-based psychosocial support (CBPS) as a vital part of any ACT Alliance humanitarian response, across all sectors. The group is also working to show the relevance of CBPS to development work.
