Effective Communication, Conflict Management And Facilitation Training

Within the frames of “Promoting Dialogue for Regional Reconciliation” project a training for facilitators was organized by Caucasus Regional Office of EPER — Swiss Interchurch Aid through 11-14 March, 2008 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The training was conducted by Center for Change and Conflict Management “Partners-Georgia,” non-governmental, non-profit organization. Implementing partners of the project from Armenia (Armenia Round Table, “Shoghakat” TV Company) and Azerbaijan (“Internews” Azerbaijan) participated in the training.
The objective of the training was to provide participants with necessary facilitation skills and exercise participants’ skills of effective communication.
As a follow up of the training, it was agreed that both groups will film a discussion in own country and later on watch it with trainers for comments and suggestions. During the four-day meeting, partners also discussed project implementation activities.
