European Regional Partnership Group Meeting In Macedonia

On May 14-17, 2008 a meeting of European Regional Partnership Group of the World Council of Churches was held in Ohrid, Macedonia. 35 representatives of Ecumenical Agencies and National Partners from about 20 European countries were present. Dr. Karen Nazaryan, Executive Director of Armenia Round Table made a presentation of ART consolidated program at the meeting.
During the four-day event the participants discussed social, diaconal and development projects, have been consulted about planned merge of ACT International and ACT Development, discussed ways of collaboration with Conference of European Churches. Activities in the field of HIV/AIDS, trafficking, peace and reconciliation implemented by European churches and Round Tables have been discussed in the thematic groups.
The next meeting is scheduled for October, 2009 in Armenia.
