Web Design And Management Workshop
Through March 22-27 the ART in cooperation with CAPS/USAID organized and carried out six-day training on Web Design and Management for 10 trainers of ART established computer centers in Physmath Special School after A. Shahinyan under the YSU.
The course consisted of two trainings: Sustainability Toolkit training equipped the trainees with management, planning, fostering, marketing, coordination tools, capacities and mechanisms for working in communities, thus securing the sustainability of the computer centers. And Web Design training enables them prepare Web Sites.
“The training courses will address several important objectives. They will enhance the technological skills and abilities of the computer centers’ staff, thereby enabling them to offer more training and make computer center operations more effective. Increase the supply of trained computer center specialists to train more representatives of vulnerable groups contributing to increased employment in Armenia. And also, the training will support computer center-based activities, thereby increasing the community focus of computer centers and securing their sustainability,” said Armen Abrahamyan, CAPS Information Technology Cluster Coordinator. Shoghakat TV studio broadcasted and disseminated information through the country on 29 and 30 March, 2010.
