Do No Harm Application Workshop

This time “Do No Harm” (DNH) workshop took place in Yerevan through April 27-30. The participants were 9 representatives of EED partner organizations from Armenia and Georgia, mainly Armenia Round Table Foundation, YMCA Armenia, YMCA Georgia, CTC Georgia, Centre for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia.
The workshop aimed at discussing of how to enhance the effects of using DNH in project planning and implementation for achieving maximum project impact and to understand the possibilities and ways of incorporating DNH into new proposals to be submitted to EED. The material of the workshop was practically provided through the discussion of two actual projects selected from the projects presented by participant organizations.
On April 29, after two-day practical training, a field visit was paid to Metsamor Development Center maintained through different ART projects in cooperation with “Zangakatun” NGO. The workshop was conducted by Mrs Ankica Dragin, a trainer identified by EED. The participants were warmly welcomed by the staff of the Center. Those present were introduced the history and current projects of the Center, had pleasure to enjoy “Sunflower” choir of “Zangakatun” NGO and the performance of puppet theater “Palancho.” Full of emotions the participants came back to Yerevan. The workshop finished on the 30th of April. The next workshop is planned to hold at the end of October 2010.
