Visit Of The Estonian Council Of Churches Delegation To ART

Six members of the Estonian Council of Churches, representing Russian Orthodox, Estonian Lutheran and Methodist Churches, paid a visit to ART yesterday, September 17, 2010 in the frames of their official visit to Mother See. The meeting was led by His Eminence Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, Director of the Inter-Church Relations Department of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and a member of the ART Board of Trustees.

After short introduction Bishop Hovakim presented activities of the ecumenical offices in Armenia. Ms. Karine Baghdasaryan from ART and Mr. Vardan Afrikyan form ECLOF told about the main direction of the work in their organizations.
Mrs. Karine Baghdasaryan presented the main projects in three strategic directions of the ART. The guests were very much impressed by the Green Theology and Social Diakonia projects. Further cooperation between the ART and the Estonian Council of Churches in the latter was healthfully welcomed by all the present.
