Christian Family And The System Of Society Values
Within the framework of its “Armenian Churches Against Gender-Based Violence” project supported by UNFPA Armenia, ART, in cooperation with Christian Education Center of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin is accomplishing an awareness-raising project aiming at promoting national and spiritual values of Armenian families in the upbringing of Armenian children via family-school-Church cooperation. The three-day workshop held with participation of 26 clergy from all the dioceses of Armenia and chaired by Rev. Fr. Shnorhk Sargsyan, Dean of Vazkenyan Theological Seminary, aimed at exchanging experience, information and challenges experienced by clergy during the project implementation.
During the workshop, the clergy identified the best practices and main challenges, and based on the major findings, worked in groups to develop action plans for the continuation of the project. The WGs were split according to the preference of the clergy related to the target groups.
By the end of the workshop, the group managed to develop targeted action plans and one overall plan for the activities in the sphere of Gender-Based Violence and Family Well-Being for all the dioceses of Armenian Apostolic Church.
