An Inter-Active Training On “How To Write A Successful Proposal”
“How to write a successful proposal” an inter-active training was carried out through January 17-20, 2012 in Yerevan. The training was supported by World Council of Churches, Switzerland and East Foundation, Poland and carried out by Mr Thomas Magura, PCMagura, Netherlands. The training was a joint initiative of the Armenia Round Table and East Foundation who cooperate over capacity building of operational Round Tables or similar ecumenical structures involved in diaconal and development programmes in Eastern Europe.
The training programme was based on a systematically established need from beneficiary countries and 14 participants from Armenia, Georgia, Byelorussia, Russia and Ukraine received a practical insight into EC requirements for proposal writing and structuring tool for formulation of a concept note and a subsequent full proposal. The training participants sharpened their knowledge on EC application procedures which is believed to contribute to an improved access to EU funding, as direct and secured project funding is a prerequisite condition for the most of civil society and Church based organizations to accomplish their goals and work.
