“East” Foundation Annual Meeting

Armenia Round Table is a member of several international and local nets, one being Poland based East Foundation , which unites Church related organizations from Armenia, Poland, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova. The annual meeting of the East Foundation Council took place in Warsaw, Poland, on September 10, 2013.

The 2012 financial and narrative reports were presented by Miroslaw Matrenczyk, Chairperson. Council members shared information on their ongoing and planned projects and discussed a number of issues, such as East Foundation financial situation and future activities, regional networking in HIV/AIDS, migration/trafficking and environmental protection.

Membership: “Sisterhood Union in Belarus” was admitted as a new member. Decision on possible membership of East Foundation in ACT Alliance was postponed till next year.
