Training Course in EU Centre
September 26-28 EU Centre in Armenia organized 3rd Training Course on information sharing and discussion about how EU works. More than 25 different organizations were invited, among them 2 representatives of the AAC Bishop Hovakim Manookyan and Karen Nazaryan. Participants had opportunity to listen number of presentations about different aspects of EU work and cooperation between EU and Armenia. After opening and introduction by the Head of EU delegation in Armenia Ambassador T. Hristea, the Ambassador and Deputy Minister of Economics Mr. G. Melkonyan made presentations about EU-Armenia relations. EU development cooperation was presented by Head of Cooperation of the EU Delegation Mr. H.-B. Adjemian followed by Q&A sessions. Next day participants had opportunity to listen information about a project supported by EU: Social and Econimic Empowerment of Women in Armenia presented by AYWA. Very interesting presentations How EU works and Armenia-EU relations made by H. Kostanyan from Brussels based think-tank CEPS.

Besides of rich information sharing and warm welcoming atmosphere the training was nice opportunity to create useful working and friendly contacts between participants and to know more about work of EU institutions in Armenia and outside.
