Second ACT Alliance General Assembly,  the strategic meeting place of the ACT membership, took place in Dominican Republic 21-24 October 2014 under the motto “Join Hands – Full Life and Dignity for All”. The Assembly has made important decisions to shape the future of ACT, that is  related to governance, elections and by-laws. Leaders of one of the largest humanitarian and development bodies of the world were  united in their determination to drive down global poverty.ACT delegates at the general assembly adopt new Governing board members and ambitious plans to shape the future of the alliance.  Dr. Karen Nazaryan, Executive Director of the Armenia Round Table, was elected as a member of ACT Alliance Governing Board .
