ART Annual Meeting
Armenia Round Table invited its annual meeting with the participation of nearly 40 representatives of civil society organizations, Church related Social and Community Centers, members of Board of Trustees, ecumenical organizations, on April 20 in the meeting hall of the Ecumenical Center in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
The meeting started with Lord’s Prayer and a welcome address of His Grace, Bishop Markos Hovhannisyan, Chairman of ART Board of Trustees.
The meeting took a short round of introductions and followed by a presentation on integrations issues and role of civil society in intergration processes by Karen Bekaryan, chairman of “European Integration” NGO. After Q&A session, ART executive director, Dr. Karen Nazaryan, introduced “Support to conflict affected Syrian families in Kessab” project and reflected on challenges emerged with project implementation in Syria as well as situation of Christian communities in Syria. The final session of the annual meeting was enriched by presentations from local implementing partners.

ART chief accountant Elmira Madoyan introduced ART financial policy, terms of cooperation and financial requirements were introduced in details. The meeting was closed by sending out remarks by Bishop Markos and informal sharing between participants.
