“Rural Life and Traditions 2015” Festival
On Saturday, September 26 “Rural Life and Traditions 2015” Festival took place in Yerevan English Garden organized by “Green Lane” NGO with the support of many organizations, including Armenia Round Table. Participants from all marzes of Armenia, Nagorno Karabakh and Georgia took part in it.

The festival was a real PR action for ART to make us more visible and recognizable. ART was represented with 12 groups from projects in Gavar, Vardenis, Gyumri , Ashtarak, Gai, Karakert, Byurakan, Jrvezh, Sevan, Meghradzor, Tavush borderline communities and Syrian refugees. They successfully sold their products: food, honey, a variety of handwork, carpets, etc. One of the main outcomes of the event was establishment of new contacts, and gaining skills and experience. In is worth mentioning excellent presentation by Gai choir. Moreover, Syrian cooks got a prize as the best entrepreneurs.




As the organizers state it is possible to develop and make prosperous our homeland when producers and consumers, employer and employee, village and city are together.
