New Development Initiatives in Martuni
Armenia Round Table Foundation in cooperation with Armenian Missionary Association of America and “Teach for Armenia” NGO equipped a computer center in Martuni village of Tchambarak region with five computers and a projector, created local network and provided the software maintenance of the center.
With the efforts of “Teach for Armenia” NGO the center was also provided with five laptops. A teacher who is trained and contracted by the NGO will conduct computer based trainings for two years.

In the era of rapid development of information technologies, internet computer center will provide new development opportunities for the youth and other community members, make them a part of the global network, develop personal capacities and interpersonal relationships, and identify new opportunities for them in this disadvantaged village. The project will work to integrate the innovative methods of education and information, communication and socialization towards the betterment of the livelihoods of the beneficiaries and will support them to obtain new skills, be competent and feel very motivated as part of e-Society, be compatible in the labor market or preserve jobs.
