Students Will Apply Their Knowledge on Peace and Negotiation Soon
On March 3, 2017, 22 graduates of «Conflict transformation and resolution through negotiations» course received certificates of attendance in Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University. Mrs. Larisa Alaverdyan, head of the Institute of Law and Politics of Slavonic University and Dr. Karen Nazaryan, executive director of World Council of Churches Armenia Round Table Foundation awarded the certificates.
Since September 2015, the course «Conflict Transformation and Resolution Through Negotiations» was included in the curriculum of the faculty of “International Relations and World Policy” as a compulsory class with the joint efforts of WCC Armenia Round Table Foundation, Slavonic University and “Foundation against the violation of law” NGO. The educational methodological complex for the “Conflict Transformation and Resolution through Negotiations” course is under elaboration. The graduates will have opportunity to participate in the competition for small-scale projects announced by the Round Table Foundation and apply their gained knowledge in practice.
