A meeting on Eco-Theology, Ethics of Sustainability and Eco-Friendly churches took place in Wuppertal, Germany. More than 50 participants from 22 countries of Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe discussed problems of Eco-Theology, Sustainable Development and collaboration between churches, CSOs, local communities in Ecumenical Pilgrimage for Justice and Peace.
ART was represented by Dr. Karen Nazaryan, Executive Director. He made a presentation on the linkage between ecology and pilgrimage and collaboration with ACC, city of Etchmiadzin and ART in green pilgrimage, how churches can become spacer for ecological learning, advocacy and value change.
The meeting came up with recommendations for a common platform for sustainability and eco-ethics as well as effective implementation of SDGs.
